Why do I need to update my website?
The maintenance of your website is an important thing to consider when having a website designed. Will you be updating your website yourself? if so, you may want to include a Content Management System. The other option is to pay someone to update the website for you, here at Future Plus Web Design we offer both services.
Content Management System
We can provide you with an easy to use Content Management System; this will enable you to control any aspect of your site that you need to change. The editor for this system even allows for you to copy and paste straight from Microsoft word or a similar application, the Content Management System will clean up the code to ensure that your website is coded correctly. You will be able to add images, links, change the font etc as you would if you were using a program like Microsoft Word.
Basic Content Management System £100
We will add our easy to use Content Management System and adjust to your exact websites needs. You will then be able to change your text and images on your website with ease. Our CMS uses a WISWIG editor which takes the hassle out of adding new content to your website, when you change text and images using the editor it will ensure that the website is coded correctly. This is perfect for customers who do not want to know how to write HTML and Php as the editor does this for you. For those of you that want to edit the HTML itself you can simply click the source button in the editor and it will allow you to edit the HTML itself without the need for any other programme.
Advanced Content Management System £150
We will also extend the capability of our CMS by allowing you to have several user levels. The super admin user will be able to create various admin users to update the website. The super admin will also be able to add new pages to the website. Also included within the CMS is the ability to view which user changed what content.

Ongoing Support
We offer ongoing support to all customers that have Web Hosting with us. If you are having problems or need advice, you can simply contact us for some help. We will then be able to point you in the right direction or sort, help, change or fix the problem. You can also find free video tutorials in your web hosting control panel; these will show you how to use all the features of your web hosting. You will also get a login for this site where you will have access to our client’s only area; from here you will have access to our client forum. This forum contains useful tips on how to succeed on the World Wide Web as well as answering any questions that our clients may have had in the past.
CMS or Updates
If you would like to order our CMS for your website, please fill in this form and click on the "Order CMS" button.
We will then contact you to discuss your order, at which time if you change your mind we can make the necessary adjustments to your order.
What if I do not have time to update the content of my website?
If you do not have time to update your website yourself we can update for you. We can charge a small monthly or yearly fee for this service. This fee will vary depending on how often you would like us to update the content on your website.
Monthly Maintenance
Monthly updates - £25 per month (Up to 2 Hours Work)
Send through the changes you require on the website as and when you get them and we will update your website with the new content and make any development changes needed once a month.
2 Monthly updates - £50 per month (Up to 4 Hours Work)
Send through the changes you require on the website as and when you get them and we will update your website with the new content and make any development changes needed twice a month.
Weekly updates - £100 per month (Up to 8 Hours Work)
Send through the changes you require on the website as and when you get them and we will update your website with the new content and make any development changes needed once a week.
If you want the website updated once a month you can start by paying £25 per month and I will start to update the website with all amendments received by the date you specify. You can of course cancel this at any time just send an email saying you wish to discontinue the monthly plan.
You can pay as you go and I can send a quote for each job you require and this will be charged at £25 per hour.
